The Summer Collection

S U M M E R… For me, this word holds a well of goodness. Just hearing it invites my thoughts to dive into the lake on a hot day. Of feeling the cool of the shade along the wooded path. Of sipping cold drinks on the porch after dinner.

Summer holds out so much goodness, life and refreshment to us. My aim every year is to embrace the gifts she offers. To use her as a stage to build great memories with family and friends.

That is what my new Summer Collection is all about.

Refreshment, rest and nourishment. Because, that is what I want my home to offer to my family. Maybe you feel the same way.

I also want my home to be an inviting place for weary friends to come and be refreshed too.

And really, that is ultimately my goal in the art I create. I want it to fulfill a purpose in our homes. To be a meaningful piece of the story that our homes tell. About what we love and what we love to give to others.

Nourishment. Rest. Refreshment.

This collection is inspired by my favorite beaches and trails here in Northern Michigan.

I chose a color palette that would feel fresh and cool while still offering warmth. Hoping that each piece brings the energy and excitement of being in a favorite place, while also feeling like a deep, peaceful breath.
