I kick off my shoes, sinking my toes in the cool sand. Book in hand, towel over shoulder, sunglasses perched on my head, I smile. Leaving the cares of the day locked in the car, I feel lighter as I make my way to the water. This painting is inspired by Van’s Beach in Leland.
